Our client was a 17-year-old operating a side-by-side UTV, following behind his father on a tractor, when the driver of a motor vehicle rear-ended him.  The collision pushed it forward into the tractor his father was operating.  As a result of the incident, he sustained multiple facial and jaw fractures, a subdural hematoma, multiple facial lacerations and a concussion.

He was admitted to the hospital for a number of days after the incident and required a number of surgical procedures to repair his fractured jaw and to extract damaged teeth.  Unfortunately, he continues to experience some numbness in his face, which his medical treatment providers do not expect will improve.

Attorney Eric Schade was able to resolve his claims with the liability carrier for their combined single limit of $300,000 without having to file suit.
