Our client was riding on a motorcycle, coming off an off-ramp from a highway in West Bend, when a truck that was having engine trouble drove on the road he was turning onto.
The truck had been driving on the highway the opposite direction and came off the off-ramp and turned left to get to the first parking lot he could get to check out his engine. Unbeknownst to the truck driver, he was leaking transmission fluid on the roadway. Our client drove over the transmission fluid and immediately his cycle went down causing him a fractured ankle.
Attorney Todd Korb was able to get the insurance company to offer $225,000 to settle the case without filing suit.
