Our client was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on a sunny summer day when he was cut off by a dump truck. He suffered serious shoulder and foot injuries in the accident.
The insurance company denied the claim, contending that the dump truck had just made a right turn and needed to keep a wide angle because it was full. They also accused our client of speeding up to beat the traffic light.
Attorney Timothy Schelwat filed a lawsuit and, after the discovery process, the claim was settled for $135,000.
