Hupy and Abraham President Attorney Michael Hupy has made a $12,000 donation to the Wisconsin Coalition to Normalize Relations with Cuba. The money will be going to purchase pacemakers for Cuban citizens.

Attorney Hupy has been involved with The Committee to End The Embargo Against Cuba before he visited Cuba in 2016.   “I see this as an opportunity to help save lives.  Cuba has the nicest people in the world based on my personal experience,” states Hupy.

This is an emergency drive to supply Cuban hospitals with desperately needed medical equipment. Cuba has no pacemakers, leaving patients suffering from heart disease with a three-year wait for the lifesaving devices. While the U.S. embargo prevents the country from purchasing pacemakers in the global market, some 70 elderly Cubans are currently unable to leave their hospital beds until they receive the devices. Cuba urgently needs 2,000 pacemakers to treat its heart patients.

These patients and many others won’t survive unless help is sent now.

Helping to serve the community, Attorney Hupy has made monetary donations to many worthwhile causes. Hupy and Abraham’s mission is “doing well by doing good” and has given over a $1 million to worthwhile organizations.
