Thursday, September 5, 2024, Hupy and Abraham was a proud sponsor of the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee’s 108th Luncheon at the Italian Community Center. The luncheon brought together board members, sponsors and supporters.
The program started with welcome remarks from the president, executive director and Amira Adams, a spoken word poet. The honorable Carl Ashley and the mayor of Milwaukee, Cavalier Johnson, gave their remarks. Kevin Layde and Jose A. Olivieri were honored as equal justice medalists. The keynote speaker was Nancy Hernandez, President, Hispanic Collaborative/President and Founder, ABRAZO Multicultural Marketing and Communication.
Legal Aid provides legal services at no cost to individuals and families throughout the Milwaukee area. They specialize in civil matters involving housing security, guardianship, consumer protection, financial health, civil rights and immigration. Hupy and Abraham has been a supporter of the Legal Aid society and their mission for decades.
