October 2, Hupy and Abraham’s Senior Human Resource Generalist, Justin Wood, attended a luncheon at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Center for Student Experience with 10 other employer partners and 10 college faculty members.
The purpose of this luncheon was to discuss what content should go into a career course in the College of Letters and Science. This course is used to focus on developing students' careers. Some of the course topics include securing internships, using best practices for resumes and interviews, building skills and engaging in career exploration.
This event was a great opportunity to build connections with other professionals and ensure students are getting the best and most important knowledge when it comes to their future careers. Hupy and Abraham is honored to be able to add to the conversation and proud to hire UWM students.
