People gather at the Harley Homecoming Festival at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson.

Every year, Harley-Davidson holds a giant event throughout the Milwaukee area to celebrate riders across the world. The event is known as the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival and this year the huge event will take place July 25 - 28. The Homecoming Rally used to be known as the Milwaukee Rally in the past and would take place over Labor Day weekend at Harley dealerships across the Milwaukee area. Last year, Harley-Davidson decided to move the event to the middle of summer. The Homecoming Festival will take place at dealerships, the Harley-Davidson Museum, Veterans Park and many other locations throughout the Milwaukee area.

This year’s event is filled with awesome activities for motorcycle riders, music enthusiasts and families alike. Riders and attendees can take part in many different events across Milwaukee throughout the festival's four days.

Some of the many locations attendees can visit:

Harley-Davidson Museum

Veterans Park

Harley-Davidson Headquarters on Juneau Avenue

Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations on Pilgrim Road

Suburban Harley in Thiensville

Wisconsin Harley in Oconomowoc

Uke’s Harley in Kenosha

And many more!

For the live music lovers that will be attending the festival, several big-name bands will be gracing the stage at Veterans Park. Friday, July 26, will be headlined by Jelly Roll and supporting acts that include Hardy and Warren Zeiders. Saturday, July 27, Veterans Park will feature the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers supported by The Offspring, Cypress Hill and many more bands. These are two nights of live music you won’t want to miss. Each dealership across the area will feature several music acts as well throughout the entire festival, so check out your favorite dealership’s website to see their live music schedule.

Besides music, Veterans Park will also have a lot of other activities for everyone planning on attending. There will be tattoo artists available for those looking to get some ink done from famed people in the industry. The Nitro Cirus and Monster Energy Motocross Teams will be performing motorcycle stunt shows throughout the weekend. Tons of food vendors and motorcycle vendors will be on hand to check out as well. Veterans Park is one of the locations that will require admission tickets to enter, which will range from $125 to $500, if you want the VIP experience. Children 10 and under can get in free with an adult who holds a general admission ticket.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will hold many free events throughout the weekend including a Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert and many other acts, custom motorcycle shows, the Harley-Davidson Factory Race Team Experience, pinstriping workshops from trailblazing women in the motorcycle industry and a ton of other amazing activities and demonstrations. The museum exhibits will also be open to everyone who buys an admission ticket.

For those that want to check out Harley’s headquarters or operations plants, there will be activities like an opening ceremony, an interactive culture and art fair, STEM activities for kids, Harley factory tours, police motorcycle skill demonstrations and much more.

Each Harley dealership throughout the area will host events as well, with live music, food vendors and motorcycle vendors.
