Thursday, June 13, 2024, Hupy and Abraham was a proud sponsor of Sojourner Family Peace Center’s “Be the Light” Gala at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The gala brought together survivors, board members, sponsors and supporters.
The evening started off with a social hour featuring a silent auction and wine pull. After the social hour, the dinner and program started. Survivors shared their stories and how Sojourner helped them. The event then went into a live auction, which included multiple private dinners and sports tickets. The end of the event concluded with another opportunity to donate during the mission raise. At the end of the night, it was revealed that they were able to raise over $100,000 from the night.
Sojourner's mission is to ensure the safety of victims of family violence and provide a pathway out of violence. In 2023, they were able to provide lifesaving services to 9,656 individuals.
