Tessa’s Black Entertainment & Youth Center, Inc. (TBEY) held its Annual “A Journey Through Dance” summer concert August 20, 2016. TBEY strives to promote dance awareness in Milwaukee, and empowers youth to explore, engage and express themselves through movement. Since its inception over 15 years ago, the organization has provided professional arts training to over 500 children and young adults.
For several years, Hupy and Abraham has been a sponsor of this event, which allows for TBEY to advance its mission to maintain an art youth program in the Milwaukee area. At the 2016 “A Journey Through Dance” summer concert, youth participants were able to show off their talents to the community in a showcase. In addition to supporting TBEY, the law firm and Firm President Michael Hupy have been supportive of the arts in Southeastern Wisconsin, including the United Performing Arts Fund.
