We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your support of the Juneteenth Festival. The event was a great success as the weather was great and it was a weekend day. The theme of “Fatherhood” encouraged families to attend. Those that attended seemed pleased with the vendors, presentations, and entertainment.
Our Milwaukee Juneteenth Day Festival is one of the longest continuous celebrations of this event in the country, and we owe our ability to continue to host this community event to our sponsors. Without you, this joyous occasion would be impossible.
People in our community remember Juneteenth Day as something special, a wonderful memory of growing up in Milwaukee and one that introduced them to their proud heritage.
