On April 7, 2017, the third annual “Take a Vet Hunting” event held by Concordia University Wisconsin and American Legion Post 1881 took place. Hupy and Abraham has been a supporter and sponsor of this event in the past.
The nature of this year’s hunt was different than previous ones. It was a “driven hunt,” which involves participants standing at the bottom of a hill with equipment aimed toward the desired birds for a period of time.
This annual hunt gives friends of Concordia University Wisconsin and local veterans a chance to spend a weekend together and connect. The university has supported hundreds of veterans in the past, including alumni. Helping veterans in the local community has always been an important issue for Hupy and Abraham, S.C. The firm has also helped veterans with resources related to legal services and motorcycles.
